Job Description

Prerequisite Skills:-Experience using and configuring Windows Sharepoint Services (WSS) 2.0 / Sharepoint Portal Server (SPS) 2003 or WSS 3.0 / MOSS 2007 a plus-Experience programming with WSS / SPS / MOSS APIs -Experience using SharePoint Designer 2007 -Experience using InfoPath 2007 and MOSS 2007 InfoPath Services -Experience developing ASP.NET 2.0 and/or MOSS 2007 Web Parts -Experience developing .NET 3.0 and/or MOSS 2007 Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) components-Experience developing custom Sharepoint / MOSS list definitions, content types, fields, item event receivers, user controls, and other .NET components.-Experience with Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) or MOSS 2007 publishing infrastructure / features a plus.- Microsoft certification MCSD for .NET will be a big plus. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as process descriptions, procedure manuals, and technical trade journals- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and/or employees of the organization- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form- Ability to represent and communicate with a diverse population- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information- Knowledge of basic HR policies and principles- Well developed people skills, able to take initiative - GOOD oral and written Communication is a MUST- Should have a valid Passport Primary Responsibilities/Duties
- Should have at least 2-3 years of experience in SharePoint 2003 technology.- Experience using SharePoint Designer - Should have thorough knowledge and experience on VB.NET, ASP.NET - Experience on SQL and Oracle is also a must. - Should have the good experience in SharePoint applications with debugging skills and understanding the logic of code written - The Resource would be required to talk to Client directly, understanding their issues and thereon provide solutions within the stipulated time.- The resource should be willing to work in Support environment
